• Jermaine Dye Autographed White Sox Bat Held by Cubs Fan
  My mother, Cindy Shelton, holding a White Sox bat that Jermaine Dye autographed for an auction for the 2/14 Scholarship Fund. The White Sox donated autographed items for an auction to benefit the February 14 Scholarship Fund for NIU after the shooting. I out bid others in the auction and gave my mother the bat. Yes, she is wearing a Cubs shirt and that was a coincidence.
• Miniature Football Helmet, T-Shirt, and Other Artifacts from NIU Athletics
  All of the following items were on display at the 2/14 Memorial Center in the Holmes Student Center: (1) Small, black football helmet with Huskies logos on both sides and two stickers on back, one of an American flag, the other reading "Forward Together Forward." Size: 4.75" wide by 4.75" tall by 6.5" deep. (2) White T-shirt with three huskie dogs on front reading in black and red, "Leaders of the Pack." Back of shirt reads, also in black and red, "Forward Together Forward" with two paw prints. Size: Small. (3) Yordon Center media pass with picture of Huskies football helmet being held up by player. Pass is attached to black strap for hanging around neck. Front reads, "YC: Yordon Center: September 20, 2008," with [Sycamores logo] VS. [Huskies logo]. Back has regulations for using pass. Size: 3" wide by 5.5" tall. (4) Yordon Center parking permit. Front reads "2008 Huskie Football Parking: Y: Yordon Center: Pass #: 0042" with a Huskie Athletic Scholarship Fund logo at bottom. Back has stadium layout and parking information. Size: 3.75" wide by 9.25" tall. (5) Red and white sign that was on display with the items at the 2/14 Memorial Center. Size: 3" tall by 7" wide.
• Baseball Jersey from the Chicago White Sox
  White-with-black-pinstripe jersey with White Sox logo and "08" on front and "NIU: 08" on back. Jersey was given to President Peters at U.S. Cellular Field season opener, April 7, 2008. Jersey was on display in the 2/14 Memorial Center in the Holmes Student Center. Size: XL.
• Wristbands from the University of Maine
  Dark blue rubber wristbands reading: UMAINE CARES. Included with item #483 (University of Maine Banner). Size: .5" wide by 2.5" diameter.
• Teddy Bear from Campus Memorials
  Green and blue teddy bear Beanie Baby with soccer ball patch on chest. Tag still in ear in plastic case reads: Kicks. Size: 9" long.
• Pom-Poms from Campus Memorials
  Pair of black and red pom-poms with withe plastic handles. Quantity: 2. Size: 17" long.
• Julianna's Golfing Disc from Campus Memorials
  Blue golfing disc with cross drawn on in black. Inscription in black reads: To Julianna Gehant & Family: I join in your sorrow: Yet have hope for tomorrow: May God's comfort and love fall on you all: Dan "Disc Golfing Man". Size: 8.5" diameter.

  Yellow golfing disc with cross drawn on in black. Inscription in black reads: To Catalina Garcia & Family: I join in your sorrow; Yet have hope for tomorrow: God's Peace: Dan "Disc Golfing Man". Size: 8.75" diameter.
