• Always Remember
  To think a tragedy like this would affect my school, let alone my classroom, was just out of the realm of possibility to me. By God's grace I was not in attendance, but had close friends who were, one in particular who was injured. My world was turned upside down that day, and my heart filled with sorrow as well as guilt. Guilt of not being there, but I gave thanks that I wasn't. This photo was taken in November of 2009 during my return to campus nearly 1 year later. I was a senior in 2008. Forward Together Forward. This contribution is dedicated to Patrick Korellis.

• The week after 2_14
  This photo was taken the week students returned to campus after 2-14, when Tikva, a crisis response dog, visitied the Women's Studies Program office.
• Colors of Hope
  After darkness are bright colors of hope.
• Red Hope
  Red flowers burst from the snow outside on campus, the Forward Together, Forward is subtle in the background, letting us know what we will never forget.
• NIU Cares Day
  Residents of Lincoln Hall C3 formed a group for NIU Cares Day and asked President Peters to take a photo with them because they were so excited that he was talking with all the students. It was their first time meeting him.
