Banners from Illinois State University Red vinyl banners with white border reading in black and white: Illinois State University sends our thoughts and support to Northern Illinois University. Large NIU huskie dog logo at center. Various messages, prayers and signatures cover the banners. Some messages mention Ryanne, Daniel and Catalina, along with other students who were in Cole Hall on 2/14/08. Banner number 2 of 2 was on display at the 2/14 Memorial Center in the Holmes Student Center. Quantity: 2. Size: 36" tall by 96" long. -
Letter from Michael Snow from Campus Memorials Letter on three pieces of notebook paper expressing shock and empathy over the events, and regrets not being able to have met the five victims. Left at the Cole Hall memorial site, which was taken down on 5/23/08. Size: 7.25" wide by 10.25" tall. -

Back of plaque has "Feb. 14, 2008" etched into it and a note reading: For all that suffered [...] . Note mentions having a daughter (Jenna) who was in Cole Hall at the time of the shooting. Plaque has been damaged due to weather. Size: 12" long by 12" wide by 1.125" thick. -
