After so much sadness and violence the past semester, it was a gift of hope and healing to find a mallard had picked the unlikely place of a roof top to nest and hatch 6 ducklings. Incredibly, with fragility, life would endure. Watching them swim, a joy! Gabel Hall, through a classroom window looking out to a "courtyard" roof top.
