• Light in Dresden, Germany
  Glowing light down a side street in Dresden, Germany at dusk. I find this photo inspiring of hope, as it is taken in Dresden, Germany, which was a city almost completely destroyed by the firebombings of World War 2. It is remarkable to see how the city has been rebuilt and instilled people with hope.
• Evolution?
  Woman observing Chicago Skyline from viewpoint near Shedd Aquarium. After seeing the ocean species and then observing the woman contemplating the view, with a bird in the sky, I thought of advances in all species, including human, as well as changes in industry and urbanization.
• Aspiration
  I traveled to Louisiana to volunteer twice post Hurricane Kartina. The first time in Slidell, and the second where this photo was taken in the Lower 9th Ward. One of the few houses left standing in the worst hit portion of the Lower 9th Ward, with a message that has been spray painted into the home.
