Artifacts for Ryanne Mace from the Northern Illinois University Honors Program (1) Laminated poster with photograph of Ryanne in a heart reading, "In Memory of Ryanne Mace : Northern Illinois University : University Honors Program." Size: 18" wide by 24" tall. (2) White paper posters from Virginia Tech University Honors Program. Main poster reads, "Hokies for Huskies," with various messages, prayers and signatures on both posters. Quantity: 2. Size: 22' tall by 28" wide. (3) Card from the Student Honors Association at Western Illinois University. Front of card reads, "Deepest Sympathy," and has various messages and signatures inside. Size: 4.5" wide by 6.75" tall. (4) Card from Clarion University of Pennsylvania Honors Program. Front of card reads, "With Sympathy," and has various signatures inside. Size: 5" tall by 7" wide. (5) Letter from Shippensburg University Honors Student Organization in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania dated February 20, 2008. Signed by various people. Size: 8.5" wide by 11" tall. (6) Reprinting (2 pgs.) of article from the DeKalb Daily Chronicle titled, "Honors Program Loses One of Its Own," by David Fitzgerald of the Northwest Herald. Reads, "Ryanne E. Mace remembered," and contains biographical information and remembrances of Ryanne. Size: 8.5" wide by 11" tall. (7) Tan and white teddy bear with tag in ear and green/gold plaid bow around neck with the following items attached to it: a note from Mary, Seat of Wisdom grade school attached to a black plastic string with five beads (one red, four white) and a note reading "Hugs Across America" with picture of teddy bear with the inscription, "I am Here for You." Also has a black and red ribbon pinned to right arm. Size: 13" tall by 11" wide by 6" tall.

Wreath from 2/14 Memorial Center in the Holmes Student Center Large brown wreath with red and yellow poinsettas around the bottom half and five white doves around the top half. Green stand included. Wreath was on display at the 2/14 Memorial Center in the Holmes Student Center. Size: 24" diameter.

Miniature Football Helmet, T-Shirt, and Other Artifacts from NIU Athletics All of the following items were on display at the 2/14 Memorial Center in the Holmes Student Center: (1) Small, black football helmet with Huskies logos on both sides and two stickers on back, one of an American flag, the other reading "Forward Together Forward." Size: 4.75" wide by 4.75" tall by 6.5" deep. (2) White T-shirt with three huskie dogs on front reading in black and red, "Leaders of the Pack." Back of shirt reads, also in black and red, "Forward Together Forward" with two paw prints. Size: Small. (3) Yordon Center media pass with picture of Huskies football helmet being held up by player. Pass is attached to black strap for hanging around neck. Front reads, "YC: Yordon Center: September 20, 2008," with [Sycamores logo] VS. [Huskies logo]. Back has regulations for using pass. Size: 3" wide by 5.5" tall. (4) Yordon Center parking permit. Front reads "2008 Huskie Football Parking: Y: Yordon Center: Pass #: 0042" with a Huskie Athletic Scholarship Fund logo at bottom. Back has stadium layout and parking information. Size: 3.75" wide by 9.25" tall. (5) Red and white sign that was on display with the items at the 2/14 Memorial Center. Size: 3" tall by 7" wide.

Rosary Beads from Campus Memorials Red rosary bead necklace with Pope John Paul II pendants and a crucifix. Also includes a white leather bag reading: My Rosary. Inscription on bag reads: God Bless NIU. Size: (Rosary) 22.5" long; (Bag) 2" tall by 3.5" wide.

Cups with Artifacts from Campus Memorials Plastic cups with decorative black stones inside. One has a $1.00 James Monroe 2008 coin. The other has two tea-light candles (one red, one white). Note: Cup with coin has been melted on one side. Quantity: 2. Size: 2.25" tall by 2.75" diameter.

Cards from the Russell Family of South Elgin, Illinois from Campus Memorials Small greeting cards with purple potted flower design on front. Cards were in small white envelopes addressed to the families of each victim. Inside is a condolence note and prayer. Small white stones were laid on top of cards to protect them from the wind. Only Ryanne and Daniel's cards have been opened, due to water damage. Quantity: (Cards) 5; (Stones) 5. Size: (Cards) 4" wide by 5.25" tall; (Stones) Smaller than 2" by 2" by 1".

Artifacts from NIU Day of Reflection (Two-Year Anniversary) (1) White stick candle with small white with flower print Dixie cup. Size: (candle) 8" long by 1" diameter; (cup) 2.25" tall by 2.25" diameter. (2) Black and white-with-black-paws ribbons with safety pin. Size: 4" long.

Artificial Flower from Campus Memorials One bunch of silk flowers of varying type and color attached to a red wooden plaque, which is oval-shaped. Messages on plaque appear to have faded. Size: 15" long.
