Banners from University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Banner #1: Green paper banner folded into a card reading on the front: NIU: Our thoughts are with you during this tragic time. There is also an Eleanor Roosevelt quote on the front. Inside reads: -Students of the University of WI - Stevens Point. Various messages, prayers and signatures cover the banner. Size: 36" tall by 73.5" long. Banner #2: Blue paper banner folded into a card reading on the front: NIU: Our thoughts are with you during this tragic time. There is also an Eleanor Roosevelt quote on the front which differs from the quote on the banner above. Size: 36" tall by 83.25" long. Banner #3: Red paper banner folded into a card reading on the front: NIU: Our thoughts are with you, the school and your families during this tragic time. There is also an Eleanor Roosevelt quote on the front which differs from the quotes on the banners above. Size: 36" tall by 88.5" long. Also included with the banners was a UWSP Pointers decal. Size: 4.25" wide by 5.75" tall.

Windsock and Card from Shadowlake Village in Blacksburg, Virginia Orange and maroon windsock reading on both sides: Hokies: VT. Various messages and signatures cover one side of the windsock. Card included reading: In Deepest Sympathy. Inside are more messages and signatures. Size: (Windsock) 12" tall by 21" long; (Card) 4.75" wide by 7.25" tall.

Care Package from the College of DuPage Items included in care package are as follows: Item #1: School newspaper - Courier - from February 22, 2008. The headline on the paper reads: NIU grief counseling provided to students. Inside the paper on page 3 is an announcement of the upcoming NIU Day of Remembrance on February 25th, 2008. Item #2: School newspaper - Courier - from February 29, 2008. The headline on the paper reads: Monday's standing room only memorial allows students, employees time to grieve NIU's loss. Inside paper on page 3 is an article about the DuPage Ribbon & Button Project for NIU Remembrance. Item #3: Black marble paperweight with gray etching with DuPage logo reading: College of DuPage Foundation. Item #4: Shiny, dark gray ball-point pen with DuPage logo reading on cap: College of DuPage. Item #5: White button with crying huskie dog logo reading in black and red: Today we are all Huskies: College of DuPage. Attached to pin is a small black ribbon. Size: 2.25" diameter. Item #6: Leather journal with feather pen on cover and gold-trim pages. Inside are messages and signatures from the community of the College of DuPage. About half of the pages are filled with hundreds of messages. First page has a poem by William Wordsworth entitled "Ode: Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood." Size: 7" wide by 9.25" tall. Item #7: Photographs from the College of DuPage's Day of Remembrance for NIU. Two print-outs of photographs, the rest of which are included in their original size on a CD-R. Item #8: Program / Transcription of the proceedings of the NIU Day of Remembrance held at the College of DuPage on February 25, 2008. Program is bound together with black ribbon and has a crying huskie dog logo at the top of the front page. Size: 8.5" wide by 11" tall.

Music CD from Bob Gora & Robert Gora, Jr. CD in orange plastic sleeve reading: A song to remember: We hope these songs touch your heart. Songs on CD include: 1. "I Hope Not" 3:49 2. I'm Right Here 3:46 Letter included with explanation and history of songs reading: "Bobby G": "Our Schools". Letter mentions writing a song after the Columbine shootings.

Music CDs from the Fifth Grade Students at Littlejohn Elementary School CD-Rs in slim jewel cases. Cover has the following graphics printed on it: two hearts, a pair of hands holding a heart, and a rose. Cover reads: To our NIU Families From the 5th Grade Students at Littlejohn Elementary School. The songs are listed on the cover as follows: 1. We Might Heal (03:19) 2. This Day of Peace (02:06) 3. A World of Music (04:15) The titles of these songs are written on the discs as well. Letter included explaining that these songs were sung at Littlejohn's All-School Concert, and that "We Might Heal" was sung in remembrance of the victims.

Huskie Dog from NIU Day of Remembrance (One-Year Anniversary) NIU huskie dog over a black ribbon logo mounted on foamcore with a pin on the back. Item came from NIU Day of Remembrance on 2/14/2009. Size: 10" wide by 16" tall.

Prayer Shawl and Knitting from the Prayer Shawl Ministry at Cary United Methodist Church from NIU Day of Remembrance (One-Year Anniversary) (1) Red, white and black prayer shawl with tassels at both ends. There is a small, silver keychain attached to the red end and reads: Together We Can Make A Difference. At the black end are a card, a pamphlet, and a prayer pinned to the shawl. Card reads: Our gift of comfort [...]; also has a message of support / condolence note inside. Pamphlet explains the creation process and history of the shawls and Cary United Methodist Church. Prayer cites Pam DiValerio as the knitter of this particular shawl. Size: 16"-24" wide by 72" long. (2) Also created by the Prayer Shawl Ministry: Red, knitted cloth. Size: 5" by 6". Item were donated on the NIU Day of Remembrance, 2/14/2009.

Letter included that tells of her daughter (Katherine Swibel, Class of 2011) who was on campus at the time of the incident. Angel #1: Angel holds a harp.
